Sharon Cory

Sharon is a colourist who has found a happy balance between realism and abstraction. Whether creating large-scale figurative works, vibrant urban scenes or bold landscapes, Sharon strives to capture a feeling – a mood of familiarity and recognition conveyed through gesture, colour and setting.  Her figurative works often contain underlying social commentary and insight into human relationships.

Sharon’s work can be found in public and private collections across Canada.  She currently lives in Gimli, Manitoba.
