Ann Rallison
Local printmaker Ann Rallison uses experimental print techniques to create whimsical and richly textured etchings and collagraph prints. Her unique methods, including different metals for etching, hand-cut stencils for screen printing and dry point on plexiglass, deliver an innovative take and unique perspective on the Manitoba landscape.
Born and educated in England, Ann obtained her first degree from the University of Liverpool and subsequent degrees from the University of Winnipeg and the University of Manitoba. Ann has been an active member of the Manitoba Printmakers Association Inc. for many years as an instructor, studio renter and member of the board. She has tried many forms of printmaking and continues to enjoy learning, as well as teaching.
