PROTECT WHAT YOU LOVE
ANJA STUDER
SELECTED WORKS EXHIBITED  SEPT. 1-OCT.31, 2019

Born and raised in Switzerland, Anja became an environmental activist at a very young age, feeling a deep need to protect the world we live in.  Through fine art studies in both Switzerland (ECAV) and the University of Manitoba, Anja has found the perfect medium to help inspire others to take action.

Whimsical, yet contemplative, her series of encaustic paintings  (an ancient form of painting with melted beeswax, resin and pigment) elicit a sense of connection to our province's flora and fauna that we love and need to protect.
